History

HubSpot was founded by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006. According to Forbes, HubSpot started out targeting small companies but “moved steadily upmarket to serve larger businesses of up to 1000 employees”.

HubSpot offers a free plan and three pricing levels for its CMS: Starter(18$ per month), Professional(800$ per month), and Enterprise(3600$ per month).
