History
In 2000, the company Miro developed a brand Mambo based on a content management system. After a year, it was made free to the public under the GNU General Public License. In 2005, there was a controversy between the members of the coordination board of the Mambo Foundation. As a result, the Joomla appeared on August 17, 2005. It can be considered as a fork of Mambo.
